The Centre for Sustainable Cyber Security (CSCS) has been established under the aegis of the Institute of Good Manufacturing Practices India (IGMPI). Institute is registered as a non-profit society recognised by the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Ministry of Commerce & Industry. It is also an accredited Vocational Institution under the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. IGMPI is committed to building a digitally safe and resilient environment, empowering professionals and organisations to meet the challenges of cybersecurity in today’s rapidly advancing technological landscape.

With the exponential growth of digital infrastructure, online services, and interconnected industrial systems, the need to protect critical information, networks, and personal data has become a top priority. The frequency and sophistication of cyberattacks — from ransomware and phishing to state-sponsored threats — highlight the urgency of building robust cyber defences. India faces a severe shortage of trained cybersecurity professionals, with demand far exceeding supply. Experts estimate the country needs over a million specialists, but only a fraction is available today.
